HPV-2 Jr. Drivers

We have a green light from SKUSA to add an HPV-2 Jr. race next week at the Pro Kart Challenge at the Jim Russell Karting Center, Infineon! We will be running by IKF rules and will supply our own tires (YHC) and fuel. The SKUSA membership will be waved for the first race and we will be on a trial bases, so best behavior please, there will be a lot of eyes on us! If all goes well, we will be added for the remaining races and who knows what may come after that!

We will be running the National track... backwards. That will help level any home track advantage some of the Jim Russell regulars might have. There will be practice on Friday, the only day to practice the track backwards followed by a BBQ. On race day, there is a 7 minute practice in the morning, a 7 minute qualifying session, two 8 lap heat races and a 15 lap main it's usually done by around 4:00. I hope we get a bunch of HPV-2 Jr drivers for this one, they put on a great show! Official announcement should be on EKN by Monday.

Kinsman Kart Club is well represented at the SKUSA Pro Kart Challenge at Infineon today, we have 3 HPV2 Jr. drivers entered, Janna Spear, Nick Wily and Matt Chase. The track is REALLY fast backwards, the ICC karts are hitting over 100mph at the end of the straight!

We also have a bunch of KKC members in the shifter karts, if you have Saturday free, racing starts at 10:30, come check it out.
