bugs are they there

Are them bleep'n bugs really out at the track even with all the rain? Anybody been out there to verify the l'l criters are present?

They were out three weeks ago. The red dots on my chins are finally
fading.

I'm new to the track. Does anything repel them? I
thought I was wearing my suit and a t-shirt all the time yet they only
got my lower legs!!

They leave me alone pretty much, but they have almost ate Matt alive, must be bad mojo in my blood!

Anybody know the status of the insects???

Any body been @ the track, Those Li'l critters still infesting the area?

Not yet, it was good until about 2:30 today when the breeze settled down, then it was like clouds of them came in, seriously! I still have them in the truck, stopped to get something to eat an hour later and found another one still on my arm! Maybe this hot weather will be the last of them.

The track is in serious need of another work party day! Big thorny weeds all around the perimeter of the track, at least it was incentive for everyone to stay on the track!

I second that! We left at about 2:00pm and took a cab-full home with us! At least we didn't suffer many bites. I agree we need to do some weed wackin out there! Otherwise it was great to be back on our home turf .

I spoke a little too soon. By midnight I was itchin and scratchin my legs like a mad man . Hopefully they will be gone in a couple of weeks. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Well, well I guess its the bad Sicilian mojo cus the bugs left me alone, but yes they are still there! Hopefully in two weeks they will be history. See you all at the club race on the 18th.

No I didn't see um, but I look like I have chicken pox and itch like it too! The bugs are still there, and the nats, not the nats you can win Duffy's at either!

not so fast guys. Daniel and I were at the track today. Before noon everything was good ... at around 1pm clouds (literally clouds) of these little black bugs descended on us. They liked the sunshine and the trailer, but found if we sheltered in the shade in the pre-grid, they stayed away. If you stepped into the sunshine, you were eating bugs. No signs of any bites yet though.
