old yamaha cylinders ruling as of 1/20/2010

okay, the guys have made a call on the old yamaha cylinders. They have looked in the book and it does not say you can not use them. Nor does it say about adding weight. So they have ruled that you may use them with NO penalty
ITS SAYS THERE IS A WEIGHT PENALTY FOR THE SR AND SR SUPER SPORTSMAN CANS
tHIS CLASS IS NOW USING A PIPE.

If you have the new ikf rule book. It only talks about the can class being a add weight to class. It does not say one thing about the pipe class witch the new class is.
So now watch them change the rule.

I asked the same question about the old cylinder and new pipe. I did not get an answer from Region 7. These guys will be in Phoenix next week. i plan to ask the question again and will post an answer here ASAP.

Thats good news, although I sent my motor out for top end and found out they couldn't make that old cylinder any bigger, she was max'd out. So I will be sport'n a new style cylinder, No worries Mate! Can't wait to get it back and get some track time in.
