The weather and how it effect lap times.
Let’s start a discussion on Lap times and how the weather affects it. I was at the track on Saturday and the general consensus was that of late, the track has slowed down. In some cases up to 1 second per lap. Here are a couple of reasons that I think this could be. 1. The hotter the track the hotter the tires. 2. The hotter the ambient air temp the thinner the air density. What are some of your theories on the weather versus lap times.

Did anyone else notice they were making more power last night in the cool night air? The track seemed a little slick whenyou got outside the line, but the kart I was driving had MoJo D1's (hard tire) on it.

I konw Sarah's Kart was fast, fast, fast! Cold air does wonders for the 2-strokes, as well as all motors! The Comer 50 usualy runs better on very HOT (100 deg. +) days, but WOW she was flyin! Sonny wasn't bad either in the #12 Kid kart!
