kt100--Replacing Plug Wire Empty kt100--Replacing Plug Wire

Anyone have any good ideas for replacing the plug wire on a kt100 stator? My engine wasn't mounted and a friend pushed it off the frame by accident. It fell on the plug wire and a fin chopped it off clean.

Looks like all I can do is splice on another plug wire or solder on another plug wire to the nub that's left sticking off the stator.
